Firstly, rose water can be used on all skin types as a toner, to cleanse oily skin, to rejuvenate dull skin and add glow to skin as well.

Using rose water as a toner can help reduce wrinkle,therefore slowing down your aging process. It also help with softening and toning your skin leaving you with a natural beautiful glow to your skin.

2. Using it as a moisturizer

Those with dry skin can use it as a moisturizer,its natural oils trap moisture in the skin, helping it feel and look smoother.

3. Clears acne

Mixing 2 tablespoons of rosewater and a tablespoon of lemon and applying it to your skin for 30 minutes can assist with clearing the acne on your skin. For cleansing your skin it would be beneficial for you to also mix fullers earth with rosewater .Once it dries up, wash it off lukewarm water. Doing this will remove excess oil on your skin which causes acne.

Hi there Nubians, so my significant other  mentioned that he wants to cleanse his skin so i thought i should actually share some skin care tips for men because there’s nothing wrong with a man taking care of his skin.

Most men were raised to believe that washing their face with a bar of body soap and wiping it dry was all they need to do to care care of their facial skin but guess what guys? You too can add just a few more steps to your routine that will make a big difference if you want healthy-looking skin.

 

Following these steps will get you healthy looking skin.

  1. Cleansing

Get a cleanser with natural  cleansing substances for your skin type instead of using a bar of body soap, which can dry out your face and cause it to flake or create irritation.

2. Wash your face once daily

Washing your face more than once a day can cause it to dry out,wash your face with lukewarm water as hot water will also cause it to dry out. Use your cleanser only once a day, either in the morning or in the evening, should you feel the need to wash your face during the day just splash cool water over your face and always remember to pat it dry instead of scrubbing it dry.

3. Exfoliate

Get a facial scrub and remember to exfoliate every few days to remove the dead skin as well as the dirt off your skin that does not come off on your daily cleansing routine.

4. Moisturize

Using a daily moisturizer for your skin type will help your skin retain its elasticity and keep it from feeling uncomfortably itchy or getting too flaky. Remember to also drink enough water to help keep your skin looking healthy.

5. Shaving and trimming

  • Firstly make sure that you use a clean,sharp,high quality unused razor. If you use disposable razors, be sure to choose a brand that makes razors with double blades. These are more efficient and create a cleaner shave than a single blade.
  • Wash your face with warm water, the warmth of the water will soften your skin and hairs, making it easier to shave.
  • Applying shaving cream while your face is wet will lubricate it so that the razor glides smoothly over its surface.Let the shaving cream sit on your face for a few minutes to further soften your skin and hair before shaving.
  • Use cold water to your face once you’re finished to soothe your face and reduce bleeding from any cuts you may have gotten.
  • Use a moisturizing product that will soothe irritation from the shave. Be sure to use a product that doesn’t contain ingredients that could sting your face after shaving.

How to use tea tree oil for acne

Apply tea tree oil directly to pimples
  • To apply, pour a few drops of tea tree oil onto a cotton bud, cotton pad or tissue. Gently dab the tea tree oil onto any pimples or spots. Leave for a few hours, or overnight. The redness and swelling should decrease.
  • Make sure to use 100% pure tea tree oil, not products containing tea tree oil.
  •  Add it to your cleanser and moisturizer. A few drops of tea tree oil can be added to your daily moisturizer and cleanser to help combat stubborn pimples. Apply 2 – 6 drops, depending on how strong you want it.
  •  Purchase some tea tree skincare.  If you feel that the pure, essential oil is a little too strong for your tastes, buying a tea tree based product may be a good option. Tea tree cleansers, moisturizers and spot gels are particularly popular.

1st things 1st

Hey there my Nubians, so lets start with the basics. Darker skinned woman would have different challenges than woman with lighter skin. Darker woman would need to choose their skin care products more carefully as opposed to lighter skinned woman.

Doing these following steps would help you get that flawless healthy skin you always wanted.

  • Drink at least 8 glasses/2 liters of water daily, you wont believe what it can do for your skin and your health in general.
  • Wash your face with a gentle face wash twice a day, in the morning and in the evening.
  • When you wash your face in the morning use lukewarm water and then wash with cool/cold water. This is very healthy for the pores and good for overall blood circulation on face and general appearance.
  • Moisturize daily .
  • Wear sunscreen before you apply any make on so this way will be protected against any damage that would be caused by the sun.
  • Have Patience and Determination,It’s harder than it looks, because every time you look in the mirror you want to see results right away, but be determined and have patience and you’ll succeed the goal of beautiful skin
